About Us

Education for life

Everlight College is a mixed day and boarding school located in Ggaba Bunga in Kampala. Everlight College would like to partner with parents and guardians to nurture our children into wholesome adults who know God and are committed to making Him known (John 17:3). It is our belief at Everlight College, that God placed us here on earth for a reason: to know him, to relate to him and in so doing become more like him and as we dedicate our lives in service to him;to bring those he puts us in contact with, to know him. As Christians, we are compelled to help our students realize the true purpose of life. Education is a partnership between home and school – parents and teachers. At Everlight College, we desire to work with teachers who live by example, relate to students and guide them with gentleness, as they impart knowledge, skills, discipline, and train them for life. We aim to create a school environment in which students relate cordially with fellow students and with their teachers in order to learn and grow together as a team. We provide activities that enable students to learn from one another and to encourage each other to be the very best they all can be. In our focus on life, we go beyond academic excellence and give opportunities to students to apply the knowledge they acquire in school; to discover what God placed in them and how best to use it for His glory and so be prepared for life in a wholesome manner; develop their God-given talents and prepare for all aspects of life as responsible adults – career, marriage, parenting and impact on society.

Activities and facilities

At Everlight College, we seek to teach students to excel as best they can in their individual capabilities. We realize that children have varying degrees of academic capability. In our desire to educate for life, we would like to encourage all students to do their best at what they do best. We therefore consider other skills and developing God-given talents as vital to education as increasing academic knowledge. There are other skills that would enable our student to be fulfilled in life, to be job creators and responsible citizens. We believe that opportunity makes all the difference.
